Comfortable bed and correct breakfast.
Un etablissement dans lequel nous ne retournerons pas !! Our booking at Hotel Riviera was a fiasco ; a problem with the room. The shower room was functionnel but ugly ( equipped for a handicapped client - a folding chair fixed to the wall of the shower etc...). At reception we asked for an other room such as shown on Booking. "No other room is available, the hotel is full" was the initial reply even though we had arrived early in the day (14 h 30). Eventually the manager, extremely unpleasant, announced that there was indeed an other room available....... For an extra 30 € per night. Our booking was non refundable : we were trapped so we accepted. The new room had a sea view but the sofa and the chair were grimy and had large stains. Several of the staff were unpleasant ; at 23h15 we were in the wifi area and the night porter, without saying a word just switched off the lights and disappeared.

We were provided with a Wheelchair Accessible room with a view of the flock of flamingos on the salt pans and the port, which was essential. the location was incredible, just a 10-15 minutes' walk from Jackpot Baptist Church.

We arrived early but our room was ready - on the 4th floor with a harbour view; AC on due to the sunshine - a nice touch. The room was almost luxurious, nicely decorated and a large bathroom. We spent the day on the island and swimming at the beaches, returning to a nice cool room and a shaded balcony with a drink watching the boats come in and the passing parade below. After a sound sleep we had a very good breakfast before heading for the ferry back to Sardinia.

This hotel has clearly been tarted up recently and it has been done well. The decor is simple but effective. What we liked especially was our balcony looking out over the busy port, every thing going on, ferries coming in and out, with a backdrop of the mainland beyond. Good sized, well appointed room with an excellent bathroom. This was December so the discreet heating was good. Carloforte is unspoilt and the island itself on a scale that reminded us of some of the smaller Scilly Isles, with the same quietness. Charming.
The lobby, though undoubtedly stylish, is a little clinical and unwelcoming. Perhaps for this reason, no locals ever seemed to set foot in the bar/cafe so it feels rather remote from town life. It was off season, of course.

The room was good modern, with a stunningly beautiful view of the sea. Location: the hotel was very close to the ferry embarking point, and the waterfront in Carlo Forte. The restaurant was located within 200 metres...

I absolutely loved the colorful and bright decorated furniture throughout the hotel. It brought back memories of the traditional island style in a modern and vibrant way. The general areas of the hotel were easily accessible for senior people like myself, with wide hallways and elevators available for use.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff. The children working there seemed overwhelmed and were not able to provide the level of service I expected for a vacation geared towards senior people.

The room was nice modern and well-equipped, I had very pleasant experience.
It was in a central setting in front of the harbor. I usually went to Frisco Popcorn Factory to grab a bite😃

Nice hotel with freindly staff. Weather was awful so we spent a lot of time in our room, which was nice. Breakfast ok. Many nice restaurants in Carloforte, with great pasta.
One fo the reasons we chose the hotel was because of the roof-top terrace with bar and nice view. However it was closed while we were there, probably due to the weather (rainy), but the second night if would have worked perfectly, but it was closed anyway :(
